Swiss Canyon Trail: A Unique Adventure in the Heart of the Jura

Located in the Val-de-Travers, this event offers varied and technical routes, revealing spectacular panoramas of the famous Creux du Van and the natural and cultural wealth of the region, such as the heritage of absinthe. The friendly atmosphere and sporting challenges make this an unforgettable experience.

Proposed courses:

• 16K: 15.9 km, 577 m D+ – An accessible introduction to the spirit of trail running. Afternoon departure.
• 31K: 31.6 km, 1’380 m D+ – A demanding course culminating at 1’113 m.
• 51K: 52.7 km, 2’632 m D+ – A striking ascent to Le Soliat and a breathtaking view of the Creux du Van.
• 81K: 82.7 km, 3’491 m D+ – A technical and varied experience, perfect for challenge enthusiasts.
• 111K: 114.8 km, 5’294 m D+ – An intense journey through the treasures of the Jura and Nord-Vaudois.
• 166K: 167.9 km, 8’189 m D+ – An ultra-mythic that will go down in history for its 100 miles.
• Défi Jeunesse: A race dedicated to children and young people. Participants can run individually or in teams (minimum 5 youngsters per team). Rankings based on full team participation, with cash prizes awarded by random draw.

• Departures and arrivals: Departure from Couvet, with schedules adapted to each distance.
• Services: Regular refreshments, medical assistance, rest areas and entertainment.
• Extras: Team rankings for the Youth Challenge, also open to Nordic Walking on the 16K.
