Swiss Canyon Trail: A Unique Adventure in the Heart of the Jura

Immerse yourself in the world of Swiss Canyon TrailThis legendary race is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Situated in the Val-de-Travers, this event offers a varied and technical route, revealing spectacular panoramas of the famous Creux du Van and the natural and cultural wealth of the region, such as the heritage of absinthe. The friendly atmosphere and sporting challenges make this an unforgettable experience.

Proposed courses:

16K 15.9 km, 577 m D+ - An accessible introduction, ideal for discovering the spirit of trail running. Starts in the afternoon.
31K 31.6 km, 1,380 m D+ - A demanding course with a peak of 1,113 m.
51K 52.7 km, 2'632 m D+ - A striking ascent to Le Soliat and a breathtaking view of the Creux du Van.
81K 82.7 km, 3'491 m D+ - A technical and varied experience, perfect for those who love a challenge.
111K 114.8 km, 5'294 m D+ - An intense journey through the treasures of the Jura and Nord-Vaudois.
166K 167.9 km, 8,189 m D+ - An ultra-mythical race that will go down in history for its 100 miles.
Youth Challenge A race dedicated to children and young people. Participants can run individually or in teams (minimum 5 youngsters per team). Rankings based on each team's full participation, with cash prizes awarded by draw.

Practical information:

Arrivals and departures Departure from Couvet, with timetables adapted to each distance.
Services Regular refreshments, medical assistance, rest areas and entertainment.
Extras Team rankings for the Youth Challenge, also open to Nordic Walking on the 16K.

🎉 First 114 km ultra completed! 🏃🏻‍➡️⛰️

Rain, hail, fog and mud... the Jura spared us nothing, but what a scenery! Gorges, fountains, sublime scenery at every turn.

Top-notch ravitos and great volunteers 👏

What a superb race, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year! We're looking forward to taking in the magnificent scenery of the Val de Travers, with a 100miles specially set up for the occasion!

Open to all, this trail is sure to delight fans of both short and long distances!
