The trail of the maquisards
Become part of the legend by taking part in the Trace des Maquisards de l'Ainthe first historic night-time trail linking Ambérieu-en-Bugey to Oyonnax. This race pays homage to the Resistance and the heroes of the Second World War, crossing emblematic maquis sites.
On the programme:
- 100 km (4250 m D+) solo: a demanding route to fully experience the spirit of resistance, to be completed head-on.
- 100km relay (2 or 4) sharing the effort and experience as a team.
- 42 km (1300 m D+) solo: discover the main Maquis camps between Brenod and Oyonnax.
- 28 km (1080 m D+) solo: set off from the Place d'Armes in front of the Nantua Resistance Museum for an immersive race.
- 10 km (150 m D+) An accessible route, ideal for families or groups of friends, starting on frozen Lake Genin, lit up in blue, white and red.
