Villars route

The Villars route starts at the Roc d'Orsay cable car and runs for 12km, with a positive and negative vertical drop of 940m. This demanding route takes you first to the Grand and Petit Chamossaire, offering breathtaking views of the Vaud Alps. Taking in Lac Noir, the Col de Bretaye and the Col de Soud, this route is a real adventure for trail runners looking for a challenge.

Challenge Trail des Alpes Vaudoises

From 1 July to 30 September, the Vaud Alps will play host to the Challenge Trail des Alpes vaudoises, a unique opportunity for trail enthusiasts to discover breathtaking scenery. After two editions around Villars, this year the challenge is being extended to include routes starting from Gryon and Bex. Participants are invited to register their times on the Strava platform, enabling them to appear in the virtual ranking and enter a draw to win a host of prizes.
