What is Léman Running?

Léman Running is an active community based around Lake Geneva. We offer a calendar of races, a directory of coaches, therapists and sports shops, as well as a blog. Outings, workshops, clubs and events are organised throughout the year.

How can I become a member?

By purchasing the Léman Running 2026 Passport, You become a member for the whole year. You'll have access to around fifty outings, discounts with over 150 partners, and a lively and dynamic sports ecosystem.

Do I have to wear a swimming costume?

No. The Passport does not commit you to anything. You remain free, with no obligation to dress or join an official club.

Does Léman Running offer outings?

Yes, every year we offer around fifty hikes, trails, workshops and social runs. With the Passport, most of these outings are free or at a reduced rate.

What level do you need?

All levels are welcome. All outings are accessible, and distances and gradients are always specified when you register.

Does Léman Running offer training?

Yes, via our racing clubs supervised by qualified coaches in Morges, Nyon, Geneva, Lausanne and Meyrin. Passport members benefit from discounts on all packs (from CHF 9.20 per session).

How can I become a partner?

If you are active in sport, health, leisure or tourism in the Lake Geneva region, contact us. We prefer simple, local and effective partnerships.

The Léman Running 2026 Passport

What is it?

A digital pass valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026. It gives you access to the Léman Running community, to our outings, to discounts, to events and to the Léman Running website. Léman Running Trophy.

What can the card do?

- Access to hikes, trails and social runs
- Discounts on clubs, singles walks, evening events
- Discounts with over 150 partners (sport, health, leisure, culture)
- Discounts on certain races
- Access to the Trophy rankings
- Notification of good deals and events via the digital passport (Apple or Android)

How do I receive my card?

After purchase, a link will be sent to you by e-mail to download it onto your phone. You can use it directly at our partners or when you register on our website («I have Passport 2026» option).

- 1 hour of individual coaching with a certified or qualified coach
- Personalised follow-up and advice on how to structure a session, get started or progress towards a goal
The list of available coaches will be sent to you after purchase, with flexible appointments made according to your availability.

Léman Running Trophy

What is it?

A fun and motivating ranking system that rewards the most active members of the community.

You earn points by :
- taking part in a partner race
- volunteering at an event
- guiding an exit
- taking part in our outings
- interacting in the community
- as an active partner

How does it work?

After each activity, you declare your participation using a simple form. A ranking is updated regularly.

Are there any rewards?

Yes, vouchers, gifts or free tickets are given out at the end of the year to the most involved members.

Discounts on race numbers?

Yes, some partner races offer special discounts to Passport holders. This is indicated on each race sheet.

Clubs and outings

Léman Running Clubs
Léman Running clubs are weekly meetings in several towns: Morges, Meyrin, Lausanne, Nyon and Geneva.
They are supervised by qualified coaches and are aimed at runners who are already capable of running for at least 30 minutes without stopping.

These sessions often take place on athletics tracks, but they are not athletics clubs in the strict sense. The aim is to preparing the shopping together, You'll be able to make progress in a motivating environment and benefit from structured support.

The training focuses on the so-called quality Short VMA, long VMA, tempo, threshold, educational sessions... in short, sessions that are often difficult to do on your own.

Several levels are generally represented, However, these groups are not suitable for complete beginners. If you're just starting out, contact us or speak to one of our coaches to get the right guidance.

Social Runs
Social runs are free outings or free of charge, organised regularly in conjunction with our partners.

Their aim is to creating links than to perform. These are friendly group workouts, often in the form of :

- identifying a race course
- themed outings (product testing, special events)
- social get-together for local riders

These outings are not supervised by professional coaches, They are guided by members of the community or partners. They are open to all, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Affinity activities for singles and hikers

What is it?

Excursions and sports evenings to meet new people in a friendly atmosphere. In small groups, often around a game, a picnic or a meal.

Is there a discount with the Passport?

Yes, CHF 5 discount per Affinity tour or evening.
