The Payerne 10 kmA challenge through the streets of the town, on a flat, fully surfaced course. Starting in the village hall, the race forms two loops of 5 km each around the Broye and the town centre, offering a fast, World Athletics-approved route. Ideal for everyone, from families to friends, this event serves as the Vaud and Fribourg 10km road championships. The Centre Athlétique Broyard is also organising a 5km popular and walking race, as well as 500m and 1000m junior races, including a Special Olympics category. Start times will be staggered from 08:45 to 11:00.

A very flat course, perfect for aiming for a performance and beating your personal best. The organisation of the race was superb and the volunteers were top notch, as always. On the other hand, I found the atmosphere a little lacking throughout the race (perhaps because of the the rain that day). Thank you and see you next year!
