Léman Running Affinity - Meeting people in motion

Want to combine sport, nature and meeting new people? Léman Running Affinity offers a unique experience where hiking becomes a natural and authentic way of getting to know each other.

🌿 The concept

The principle is simple: a walk accessible to all, where 10 single men and 10 single women meet each other along the way. Thanks to a system inspired by speed dating, each participant changes partner every two weeks. 20 minutesto exchange ideas with 9 different people in all simplicity.

At the end of the outing, everyone can indicate with whom they would like to continue the discussion. If interest is mutual, contact details will be shared.

📌 Exchanging contacts
Anyone wishing to exchange telephone numbers can do so by contact Alessandro, the tour organiser and guide, directly.
👉 It is asked everyone to respect these instructions and not to request contact directly from other participants.

📅 First edition

📍 Hiking in St-Cergue ( VD) - about 11 km, D+ 350 m
⏳ Duration: approx. 4 hours (including lunch break - 25 min)
📌 Undulating course with no major difficulties (precise location to be communicated only to those registered)
🚆 Accessible by public transport
⚠️ Adapted equipment compulsory depending on the day's weather
💧 Make sure you have enough water (there are no fountains on the course) and a light meal

💰 Price: CHF 20 (includes a convivial aperitif at the end of the walk and represents a serious commitment on the part of the participants)

🔎 Security Every registration is checked (proof of identity required and kept for a maximum of 30 days for non-members).

🚨 Registration management

If we don't reach 10 men and 10 women, the event will have even so.
However, in the event of an imbalance (e.g.: 8 men and 6 women), priority will be given to the to the first 6 women and the first 6 men entered to ensure a balanced experience.

📌 Why a hike and not another activity?
Hiking is accessible to everyone and allows for natural, pressure-free exchanges. Unlike running, there's plenty of time to chat without getting out of breath.

📌 How is the event organised?

1. Appointments at the starting point near St-Cergue (VD).
2. Quick introductionThen the hike begins (approx. 4 hrs - 11 km).
3. Change of partner every 20 minutes thanks to an audible signal.
4. Discussions with 10 different people along the way.
5. At the end of the tourIf you are interested in staying in touch with someone else, please let us know. Where there is mutual interest, contact details will be shared by Alessandro, the organiser.

📌 Why pay CHF 20?
The tariff covers organisation, accident insurance, logistics and a convivial aperitif at the end of the walk to extend the discussions. It also represents a commitment from participantsThis is a guarantee of their motivation and seriousness.

📌 Can I see the profiles of other participants before the ride?
No. The aim is to encourage spontaneous and authentic encountersaway from the screens.

📌 Why ask for ID?

The identity document allows us to check your age (no minors) and to ensure that the person registered corresponds to the profile provided. It is also a guarantee of safety for the organiser and other participants.

📌 Cancellation

No refunds in the event of cancellation, unless you find a replacement of the same age.

📌 Are hikes reserved for a heterosexual audience?

Our walks are specifically organised for a heterosexual public. For those looking for outings dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, we recommend the association Frontrunners Genevawhich offers inclusive sports activities.

📌 Are dogs allowed?

No, participants are not allowed to bring their dogs (even small or friendly ones). Although the organisers are dog lovers themselves, their presence would complicate the smooth running of the walk. Imagine twenty or so dogs present at the same time: the situation would quickly become unmanageable and some participants might not feel at ease.

By taking part, you declare that being single and genuinely interested in meeting people.

📌 Health and fitness
By registering, you certify that you are in good health and physically able to walk 11 km in a groupwith no particular difficulty.

📌 Respect and behaviour
All behaviour inappropriate, insistent or disrespectful will lead to immediate exclusion and could lead to a refusal to register for future events.

📌 Confidentiality and data
The identity documents will be retained 30 days maximum before deletion.

NB: In the event of cancellation, the registration fee will not be refunded if no replacement is found.
