Sunday January 28 marked the kick-off of our series of “J’irai courir/rando chez toi” activities, organized by the Léman Running community. It’s an exciting concept: members of our community take us out to explore their favorite trails. For this first edition, Valérie and Frédéric brilliantly took on the role of guides. They showed us the route of the“Nocturne des loups“, scheduled for February 9th in this magnificent valley.

We were joined by dynamic members of the Vallée de Joux footing club, enabling us to form a third group suited to different skill levels. Between hiking, trail discovery and advanced trail, every participant found something to enjoy, on a 10 km course with 350 meters of ascent. Despite the absence of snow, good spirits and sunshine were the order of the day. These monthly outings offer everyone, whatever their level, the opportunity to join a dynamic and welcoming group. The next excursion is scheduled for Sunday February 18 to the Salève area in Haute-Savoie, followed by a trip to the French Jura in March and the Valais in April. These outings are free of charge for holders of the Annual Passport, available for CHF 14.90/year.
