The «J'irai rando chez toi» ("I'll hike with you") walks are a Léman Running concept based on discovering the itineraries of members of our community. This walk is guided by our historic member Gaëlle, Samuel and Thando. This outing, which is open to all, takes you on a magnificent journey through the mountain pastures of Fribourg and a spectacular winter landscape between the Cuva, Teyschaux and Lac des Joncs.
Practical information
- Date Sunday 15 February.
- Appointments 10.00 am at the Cuva car park (Route de la Dent-de-Lys 60, 1619 Châtel-Saint-Denis).
- Distance approx. 14 km.
- Vertical rise : +821 m.
- Duration Approximately 5 hours, including picnic break.
- Access Motorway A12 (Châtel-St-Denis exit) or train to Châtel-St-Denis then bus 492 to Les Rosalys (+ 2 km on foot). Please let us know if you need to carpool or pick up at the terminus.
Level required : Demanding (accessible only to good walkers).
This route requires good physical condition and experience of mountain walking. The safety of the group is our priority. The organiser will assess your level on the basis of previous experience or directly on the ground. He reserves the right to cancel a participant's booking if the physical level is deemed insufficient for the outing.
Equipment and meals
- Compulsory equipment Good hiking boots and appropriate winter clothing. Crampons and poles are highly recommended. Bring snowshoes if there is a lot of snow (to be confirmed the day before).
- Picnic : Everyone brings their own picnic
Registration and rates
- Léman Running Passport holders Free access.
- Non-members CHF 15, subject to availability.
Registration is compulsory and limited to 20 people.

By signing up, you confirm that you are participating in a spirit of goodwill and openness and that you are in the physical condition required for this effort. You must be covered by personal accident insurance. Léman Running declines all responsibility in the event of injury or incorrect assessment of your level.
